Caring for Drought affected Mid-North Communities
Clovercrest Baptist Church has, with the assistance of local businesses and Foodbank SA, begun a project to care for the local communities in the Mid-North of South Australia. In the last 2 years, approx 20 teams have travelled to Hawker, Nepabunna and outlying farming stations delivering much needed food, fodder and building materials to help farmers and communities survive the drought. Some areas of the Mid-North have not seen any significant rain for over 6 years.
David Girvan oversees this community assistance initiative.
